Scope

This policy explains how Line Rides collects, uses, and protects user data. By using the app, you acknowledge the processing needed to provide the service, operate trips, and support your account.

Data we collect

• Account information such as name, mobile number, email address, birth date, and gender when provided.
• Pickup and destination points and precise location when you choose to use device location.
• Reservations, seats, fares, discounts, balances, earnings, and trip history.
• Profile photos, payment proofs, and verification documents that you upload.
• Device identifiers, notification tokens, language, security events, and diagnostic logs.

How we use data

We use data to create and secure accounts, complete bookings or trip assignments, verify payment and identity, send operational updates, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Service providers and operational sharing

Data may be processed by providers acting for us, including Google Cloud hosting, Google Maps, Firebase, Apple Push Notification Service, and automated payment-proof verification services. Only trip data needed to perform a ride is shown to the relevant passengers, captains, and operations team. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit and operational access controls. We retain data as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and accounting duties, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Data is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.

Your choices and rights

You may request access or correction, or request deletion of your account and associated data through the account-deletion page. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.
